This is the Audi Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback, its new mid-size electric SUVs to rival the BMW iX3 and its Volkswagen group siblings, the ID.4 and Enyaq iV. The latest model in Audi’s all-electric e-tron range is on sale now.
Audi has confirmed the Q4 e-tron range will include three variants: the rear-wheel-drive Q4 35, a longer-range Q4 40, and an all-wheel-drive Q4 50 e-tron quattro. The Q4 e-tron is available to order now in four trim levels, with prices starting at 41.900 for the Q4 e-tron and 47.500 for the Sportback version.
Audi Q4 e-tron design
The Q4 e-tron is the first Audi SUV based on the Volkswagen group’s electric car dedicated MEB mechanical platform, but does have plenty in common design-wise with the newest e-tron GT.
The rear is dominated by a full-width light bar, and the same triple brake lights as the flagship electric saloon.
The regular Q4 e-tron will have 520 litres of boot space, and a maximum load capacity of 1,490 litres with the 40:20:40 split-fold rear seats folded down. Meanwhile, the coupe-styled Q4 e-tron Sportback will have a 535 litre boot.
The Audi Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback are available with either a 52 or 77kWh battery. The basic Q4 35 e-tron uses the smaller battery and is capable of 335 km on a single charge, depending on which trim level you select.
